ONE LIBERTY PLACE, PHILADELPHIA

Gensler was the architect and lighting design on this project. They were trying to achieve a kite flying around the feet of Benjamin Franklin and this RGBW solution was programmed to mimic a lightning storm multiple times a day to entertain the people waiting in line for the elevator.
Again, the level of complexity in engineering this project was amazing. What looks like 53 of the same triangles was actually 5 different designs because of the complicated mounting option requirements.

Apogee had to design stem mounts to bring DMX to each individual fixture with brackets to install the fixtures at the variety of angles you see in the finished design.

This engineering and fabrication challenge is again what differentiates Apogee from your typical lighting manufacturer.
