As a result, all of our lighting products qualify as Domestic Construction Material and thus fully comply with the Buy America Act. Michael brings over 20 years of experience in electrical infrastructure installation and mechanical development. Michael was responsible for spearheading several multimillion dollar projects at any given time during his days at Five Star Electric. Michael has an astute mind for meeting designers and installers’ needs without compromising manufacturability.
With over 100 design build projects under his belt, he is the driving force behind Apogee’s ability to meet customer expectations and deliver on time.
Michael Boyd, Chief Executive Officer
Frank delivers over 20 years of experience in the LED space, holding various positions in sales, marketing and development. Having worked for industry leaders Seoul Semiconductor and Toyota, he has extensive experience in component, module and fixture design.
Frank has 4 granted patents and 4 patents pending for inventions ranging from UVC sanitizing fixtures to Power over Ethernet lighting. His focus is making LED implementation easy on the end user.
Frank Zarcone, Vice President
Ian is a finance professional with over 30 years’ experience in M&A, debt structuring and equity financings.
Prior to joining Apogee, Ian was formerly the Chief Financial Officer for Net@Work, the NYC based technology consulting leader in the middle market ERP software market and the largest Sage USA reseller in North America. Ian is a CPA and senior financial executive that has seeded a successful healthcare technology company (Electronic Health Record Company), and has led growth in his role as CFO for private equity backed service companies and rapid growth technology companies.

With over 50 years experience in the electrical manufacturing industry, Richard has created a niche in the architectural and infrastructure lighting space.
Richard pioneered LED lighting in the transit sector, with industry-leading efficiency and optical platforms that made Apogee Lighting the leader in transit lighting. His experience in the design build arena has laid the foundation for Apogee Lighting and their mission of delivering high-efficiency, customized architectural products.
